FIFTH DAY: Read Matthew 28:16-20.
Q11. What does “authority” mean? Use a dictionary or your own words.
: the power to give orders or make decisions : the power or right to direct or control someone or something
: the confident quality of someone who knows a lot about something or who is respected or obeyed by other people
: a quality that makes something seem true or real

a. Give the principle command and the great promise Jesus made.
Go and make disciples of all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
teaching them to obey everything Jesus have commanded us.
Jesus is with us always, to the very end of the age.
b. What repeated word or ideas show the scope (influence) of Jesus’ command?
The scope of Jesus’ command includes in heaven, on earth, and all nations.
c. What did Jesus say we are to do when we make disciples?
To baptize them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
To teach them to obey everything Jesus have commanded us.
d. Exactly how could you fulfill Jesus’ command in your present situation?
To pray for preparing heart that to share the good news more often.
e. Why should Jesus’ authority and promise encourage you to fulfill His command?
Jesus is with us always, and to the very end of the age.
Q13. How could Christ’s resurrection change your daily life in practical ways? Give a different aspect from each passage below:
Romans 5:10
We have been justified by the blood of Jesus, then we will be saved through Christ’s resurrection from all sins, rejoice in God and live a new life.
2 Corinthians 4:10-18
If we carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so the life of Jesus will be revealed in our mortal body because God will also raise us with Jesus.
Galatians 2:20
Christ’s resurrection change our daily life for I no longer live, but Christ lives in me, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Philippians 3:10
To know Jesus, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his suffering, becoming like him in his death.
Colossians 3:1-4

We have been raised with Christ. Set our minds on things above, not on earthly things. Jesus Christ is our life, appears, then we also will appear with him in glory.
